7 places to visit in Greece

Hello fellows! Today i bring seven fantastic tourist points to visit if you are planning to go Greece. The ancient country is full of history, beaches, large seas, clear water and sky touching mountains. lets take a look at these 7 places from Grecce

Zakynthos

Zakynthos now it's one of the most stunning locations. The most famous place in Zakynthos is a shipwreck beach. Back in the 1980s, a cargo ship from turkey was carrying illegal contraband and the Greece navy crashed them into this cove over the years the sand has built up around the ship and it's created one of the most visually stunning locations in the world. the beach is only accessible by boat so if you decide to go there, you can go on a boat tour for about 20 dollars. anyone who goes there can just be baffled by the size of the cliff walls. I've never seen anything like it after checking out the beach you should go to get a view from the cliffs. above the top view is just as good if not better I mean there's just no other place like it in the world.

 Island of Marathonisi

The next place you should visit in Greece is the small island of the marathonisi. while you will be in Greece you weren't able to get a rental car. if you didn't have an international driver's license but they still let you rent a boat. you can rent one for about a hundred and forty dollars to explore the island of the marathonisi. you can drove around the island and docked there for a bit after you should take off to this cove called oasis beach, which had these massive white cliffs and in Greece and I couldn't recommend it more.

Island of Milos

The beautiful island of Milos one of the coolest places on the island is the Kleftiko caves you'll have to take a boat to get there and there are lots of tour boats that can take you they have these gorgeous white rocks that jet over the water and the water is just so clear when I imagine Greece this is what I think of another really cool spot on milo's is Sarika Niko beach it's a unique beach made of lava that has been breached by the sun and sea another really cool beach on the island is Tsigrado Beach it's just such a cool little spot to enjoy the greek sun and mediterranean sea I mean just looking at  footage makes me want to buy a plane ticket and go there now. Milos is definitely one of the first places I want to travel

Medieval monasteries of Meteora

The medieval monasteries of Meteora located in central Greece about a four hours drive from Athens meteor are home to six monasteries built upon nearly inaccessible rock pillars during the 14th-century. monks were facing attacks from Turkish raiders so they needed a place where they could worship with safety they decided to start building the monasteries upon the rocks these places of worship were perfect for their bunks because the only way to reach them was by climbing long ladders the monasteries became a place of refuge and over 20 monasteries were built during the 14th-century. I was just amazed by the architecture of these monasteries they are perched perfectly on the cliff edge and you wonder how people could have built these in medieval times. monks and nuns currently live in the six surviving monasteries the largest one is the monastery of great meteor if you ever visit Greece you gotta make sure you visit this magical place.

Vikos Gorge

viko's gorge is one of the most impressive geographical features in the country it holds the world record for being the deepest gorge relative to its width being over 490 meters deep in some sections one of the best ways to see the gorge is from the akshaya viewpoint. you'll be able to get an incredible panoramic views now near the gorge there are lots of charming little towns such as konitsa it lies at the base of the massive mountains and it's a perfect place to stay if you want to explore vicos and the surrounding area.

Parga

The seaside town of parga now located in northwestern greece about a two hours drive from vicos parka is the perfect secluded bay right on the ionian sea. now one thing I love about the city is that you have this little island with the church on it it would be so fun to swim out too there's also the ruins of an 11th century venetian castle that you can explore and it's just hard to beat the ambiance of this charming town

Athens

it's the capital and largest city in greece and it's one of the world's oldest cities i have to say that athens is one of my favorite cities in all of Europe just such a wild place with so much history. now one of my favorite places in athens is the acropolis it costs about 20 euros to get in so it's a little expensive but it's totally worth it from the acropolis you're able to get incredible panoramic view of all athens there's just an endless sea of white buildings with mountains in the background if you do go to greece i definitely recommend exploring athens for at least a day too it's just such a unique place.
